Job Description:

** Applicants should be ready to join JumpStart Georgia's team as soon as possible;

** Manage a team of technologists and researchers to achieve goals and meet deadlines;

** Understand partner organizations' advocacy strategies and decide where data, data management, and communication can lead to improved efficiency and better outcomes;

** Develop data-driven advocacy educational material for use in workshops and trainings;

** Organize organizational and public workshops about data and its visual representation and communication;

** Communicate with prospective donors/partners to extend the project with matching funds or additional activities;

** Represent JumpStart Georgia and, specifically its project, Visualizing for Data-driven Advocacy, in the press/media;

** Ensure resources are used consistently and evenly-spread throughout the year and is compatible with JS Georgia's other projects and mission;

** Keep project staff motivated.

Required Skills:

** Fluency in written and spoken English and Georgian;

** Knowledge/experience of advocacy strategies, campaigns, and tools;

** Knowledge/experience of mass communications/journalism;

** Data/numeric literacy;

** Computer literacy;

** Familiarity with spreadsheet software;

** Experience in project management and writing;

** Independent and able to self-teach new skills and technologies to achieve goals;

** An out-of-the-box thinker with an eye for detail;

Desired Skills:

** At least 3 years work experience;

** At least a basic knowledge of statistics;

** Some knowledge of design;

** International study/work experience a plus;

** Familiarity with Georgia's civil society sector.
