People in Need is a Czech non-governmental organization that provides relief aid and development assistance, while working to defend human rights and democratic freedom. People in Need is recruiting a Logistician to be responsible for overall logistics/office management, procurement, IT and transport for the Kutaisi office.
Responsibilities:
** Responsible for overall logistics of PIN Georgia, including procurement, office management, transportation, communication and IT, event logistics.
** Ensure adherence to PIN and donor logistics guidelines (management of purchases, stock, supply, equipment, vehicles)
** Asset management, including - registration, identification, donor compliance and reporting of all assets
** Responsible for all transportation, including vehicle management and maintenance, fuel logs and driver scheduling
** Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting of all Kutaisi office overhead costs
** In coordination with the project teams, responsible for the logistics of organizing events, forums and workshops
** Responsible for all contract preparation, project archiving and documentation needs within the logistics department
** Responsible for overall office management including administration, negotiations with authorities and suppliers, purchases of office supplies
** Work with PIN's finance and contract software including ERP (Navision) and ECM (ELO) software.
Description of requirements:
** 2-3 years experience in a similar position with an international or national NGO or UN agency
** Experience in working on international donor-funded projects, in particular experience with EU rules and regulations is highly desired
** Fluency in written and spoken English and Georgian required
** MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) proficiency required
** Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
** Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
