Mercy Corps is announcing several vacancies for its recently EU-funded programme: Strengthening farmers' cooperatives in rural municipalities of Georgia. The four-year programme will be implemented within the framework of ENPARD: European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development. The Mercy Corps project will cover 16 municipalities within Imereti, Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kakheti regions of Georgia and will aim to develop sustainable business-oriented farmers groups and cooperatives.

Required knowledge and experience:
** Master's degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness or related field
** At least 3 years experience in a field context incorporating agricultural development programmes
** At least 3 years of management experience (desirable in programme administration in NGOs)
** Experience of working with business-oriented farmers Groups and Agricultural Service Providers
** Experience of working on market and value chain development
** Fluency in Georgian, English and Russian languages
** Experience of working with the government
** Previous experience of managing/working EC-funded programmes is an advantage
** Ability to manage programme staff effectively and strategically
** Ability to manage team with members from different organizations
** Willingness and availability to intensively travel to the regions/areas, covered by the programme
** Excellent communication and problem solving skills
** Excellent reporting skills

2. Co-investments Coordinator
Required knowledge and experience:
** University degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness or related field
** Experience and qualifications in business development
** At least 3 years experience in a field context implementing agricultural and/or value chain development programmes
** At least 2 years of grants management experience
** Experience of working with business-oriented farmers Groups and Agricultural Service Providers
** Good level of English language, spoken and written
** Fluency in Georgian and/or Russian languages
** Willingness and availability to intensively travel to the regions/areas, covered by the programme
** Excellent communication and problem solving skills
** Excellent reporting skills

3. Agricultural Coordinator
Required knowledge and experience:
** Master's degree in Agriculture or related field
** At least 3 years experience in a field context working in agriculture
** Experience of working with business-oriented farmers Groups and Agricultural Service Providers
** Fluency in Georgian
** Good knowledge of English and Russian languages
** Experience of working with the government
** Ability to collaborate with members from different organizations
** Willingness and availability to intensively travel to the regions/areas, covered by the programme
** Excellent communication and problem solving skills

4. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Required knowledge and experience:
** Master's degree in business administration or economics or equivalent education
** At least two years experience in the monitoring and evaluation of rural development projects
** Strong experience with setting up monitoring systems
** Experience in database management
** Experience in organising training in monitoring and evaluation
** Experience in programme proposal development
** Experience with preparation of comprehensive reports
** Fluency in English and Georgian languages
** Knowledge of Russian and/or Armenian and/or Azeri language is an advantage;
** Willingness and availability to intensively travel to the regions/areas, covered by the programme
** Computer skills: MS processing application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer).
5. Finance/Administration Officer
Required knowledge and experience:
** BA or equivalent in accounting/finance;
** Experience of working in NGO sector, preferably EU program;
** At least three years of financial experience;
** At least two years experience of administrative work;
** Ability to assist in programme implementation and reporting
** Ability to work as a team member;
** Excellent communication skills
** Fluency in Georgian language;
** Good knowledge of English and Russian languages;
** Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes.
6. Senior Procurement/Logistics Officer
Required knowledge and experience:
** University diploma, preferably in economics or business administration
** At least three years of experience of working with procurement
** Understanding of and experience in logistics management and administration
** Familiarity with Farmers Groups and Agricultural Service Providers
** A clear understanding of procurement ethics and EU compliance and policies are essential
** Valid drivers' license and at least one year driving experience
** Fluency in Georgian and English languages, spoken and written
** Good knowledge of Russian language is desirable
** Excellent communication skills
** Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially in MS Excel.
7. Regional Coordinator - Samtskhe-Javakheti
Required knowledge and experience:
** University diploma
** At least three years of experience working with international organizations
** At least two years of experience working with farmers groups and business entities
** Experience and qualifications in agriculture and/or business development
** Preferred experience working in Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda municipalities of Samtskhe-Javakheti region
** Excellent communication skills
** Fluency in Georgian and Russian languages
** Preference will be given to Samtskhe-Javakheti resident
** Computer literate and proficiency with Microsoft office programs.
** Ability to represent Mercy Corps in an appropriate, friendly and professional manner.
** Ability to contribute towards a positive, energetic and team-oriented atmosphere in the office place
8. Driver
Required knowledge and experience:
** Valid drivers' license and at least three years driving experience
** Extensive experience driving 4x4 vehicles
** Clean record
** Thorough technical knowledge of vehicles
** Must respect and adhere to all safety and traffic rules.
** Willingness and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
** Basic understanding of English and fluency in the local languages is required.
** Willingness to be flexible in work-hours at times
