World Vision Georgia (WVG) is announcing an opening for the position of Sponsorship Intern for Child Sponsorship Program in Kutaisi and Akhaltsikhe offices.

Employment status: 3 months part-time paid Internship Agreement with possibility to continue employment within the organization as a Sponsorship Assistant

Child Sponsorship Programme connects children from most vulnerable families of Georgia with supporters from different countries, who would like to contribute to the well being of children.
Purpose of the position: Provide an administrative and translation services in order to ensure smooth daily operations of the Sponsorship business processes and most importantly accurate correspondence communication between registered children and supporters in compliance with existing sponsorship requirements and standards.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
** Translate letters, documents and various correspondence from Georgian (Armenian where applicable) to English and vice-versa
** Keep track of various internal databases and logbooks as assigned by Coordinator
** Support Sponsorship Coordinator in planning and implementing regular child monitoring
** Take photos and videos of children involved in the programme
** Assist Coordinator with updating Child File Cabinet on regular basis
** Contribute to organizing other Sponsorship activities when needed
** Provide an administrative assistance to Area Development Program team.
Required Qualifications:
** Bachelors degree in languages, social sciences, economic, or any related field
** Fluency in English (Writing and speaking) and Armenian for Akhatsikhe office
** Experience in administrative field or relevant
** Computer proficiency: MS Word, Excel, different database applications
** Excellent attention to detail, with good time management skills
** Willing to travel within Area Development Program
** Collaborative and hospitable
** Cross-cultural sensitivity, adaptability and flexibility
** Knowledge in video and photo taking/processing will be an asset
** Experience in story writing in English is preferable
