Accion Contra el Hambre - Spain (ACF), as part of the Action Contre la Faim International network, is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non confessional and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its vocation is to combat hunger, misery and life threatening situations that effect men, women and children. Currently 500 expatriate and more than 5,000 national employees are working in our International Network. ACF is present in more than forty-six countries working in projects focusing on the following areas: nutrition, health, food security & livelihoods and water and sanitation. ACF has been operating in the South Caucasus region since 1994.
Currently ACF is opening a position of Project Facilitator for ENPARD project funded by European Commission. The goal of the project is to support the establishment and strengthening of business-oriented farmers groups to promote increased effectiveness and competitiveness of small farmers in the agricultural economy.

Main tasks of the position:
** Assist in the identification of communities in target regions;
** Keep accurate records on project beneficiaries and activities with regular updates;
** Monitor enumerator progress during assessments;
** Receive ToT and implement awareness raising campaign in communities;
** Support Farmer groups in business plan and cooperatives development;
** Support Team leader in demonstration plot selection and other related activities;
** Oversee and participate in all relevant trainings;
** Contribute to internal and external reporting;
** Support Team Leader in presenting project to communities, in coordination with local authorities;
** Conduct regular meetings with local stakeholders;
** Promote participation of beneficiaries in project activities;
** Represent ACF at the field level and act as the contact person and link between ACF, community members and local authorities.
Requirements for the position:
** University degree in agribusiness field;
** Experience in agribusiness sector and farmers groups is essential;
** At least 2 years experience with the same profile; NGO experience would be an asset;
** Experience in collaboration with public authorities;
** Experience in Project Cycle Management;
** Experience in training or capacity building;
** Initiative and flexibility;
** Good negotiation, presentation and communication skills;
** Punctuality and availability;
** Reliable, serious and honest;
** Attentive to details; good organization and time management skills;
** Good knowledge of computer programs (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook);
** Team player, with sense of professionalism and loyalty to the organization;
** Motivated by humanitarian aims and flexible in time;
** Capable of drafting reports;
** Good knowledge of the areas of intervention (Zugdidi, Tsalenjikha, Chkhorotsku);
** Knowledge of Georgian, Russian and English.
Work conditions:
** Based in Zugdidi, with frequent travels to the project areas within Samegrelo region
** 5 days workweek, overtime required occasionally
** Contract according the Labor Code
** Gross salary: GEL 1,554 or GEL 1,756
** Health insurance.
