WVA/WVG HR Department strategic goal is to achieve organizational strategy and create value through people to enhance organizational capacity to promote sustainability through employing, developing, retaining highly qualified and motivated staff and supporting effective and efficient systems.
Purpose of the position:
Actively contribute to HR strategy implementation. Implement and assist in services and functions relating to HR work plan development, supporting HR policies and procedures development, South Caucasus (SC) workforce planning, recruitment, orientation and training. Ensuring performance management and total reward systems are in place, organize learning and development events, support in change management and staff wellbeing, provision of general consultancy on HR related issues.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
** Support HR Director with development of HR work plans.
** Arrange and consolidate info for National Office (NO) monthly updates with input from HR local staff.
** Contributing to HR Director in development and review of HR related policies, procedures, forms, systems for NO (applicable for all Country Offices).
** NO and Country Office staff awareness raising on HR related policies, procedures, forms, systems through training sessions, consultancy, established information sharing systems.
** Contribute to HR Director for development and revision of support systems, mechanisms for smooth implementation of HR activities in different levels (NO, Country Office, ADP, Project).
** Develop and update organizational structures (NO, Country Office).
** JD development, review.
** NO recruitment coordination.
** Staff awareness raising on Performance Management system through training, coaching, consultancy for NO and Country Office staff.
** Development, coordination, implementation and reporting of staff capacity building initiatives for defined targeted positions (development school, formal and informal L&D initiatives).
** Staff capacity database maintenance.
** Contribute in development and facilitation of change management plan, change related communication and change implementation.
** Development of different surveys on employee satisfaction related change management processes and impact on employees', analyzing survey results and reporting.
** Health insurance: TOR development aligned with WVI min Health standards, tender process for company selection.
** Support HR Director in Pension fund/EPF policy development, revision alignment with WVI min welfare standards taking into consideration local law regulations.
** Contribute to HR Director in compensation and benefits survey: conducting, participation, analyzing survey results and reporting for Country Office.
** Contribute to salary scale and benefits package development, review based on compensation and benefits surveys, criteria development for salary adjustments for each Country Office.
** Organize teambuilding activities: both for NO and Country office level.
** Mediate in resolution of employees' internal conflicts and grievances for NO staff.
** Provide consultancy to NO staff related different HR issues.
** HR updates on local law regulations.
Required qualifications:
** Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Social Science or relevant field.
** A minimum of three years experience in Human Resources.
** Experience and knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment, hiring, salary and benefits administration.
** Ability to work under pressure, being self-motivated and detail-oriented;
** Good communications skills;
** A thorough working knowledge of office systems. Computer aptitude and experience with word processing, database management, and spreadsheet software;
** Ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues,
** Emotional maturity and ability to deal with matters of strict confidentiality;
** Excellent organization and planning skills.
** Knowledge of Local Labor Code.
** Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and initiative with little guidance.
** Good organizational skills; ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
** Cross-cultural sensitivity.
** Good attention to detail.
** Ability to track multiple tasks simultaneously.
** Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision;
** Exercises good judgment;
** Quick learner; agile, flexible, adaptable;
** Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
