World Vision Georgia (WVG) is announcing an opening for the position of Sponsorship Operation Systems and Correspondence Assistant for Tbilisi Urban Area Development Program.

Child Sponsorship Programme is about improving the well-being of children through relationships that enable transformation. World Vision child sponsorship enhances the quality of World Vision's transformational development and public awareness ministries by providing sponsors, children, and their families and communities with a service that allows sharing of their resources, hopes and experiences in a way that can transform both.
Purpose of the position: Coordinate and implement all tasks related to Child Sponsorship Program operations at the Field Office level in order to meet the Sponsorship Minimum Programming Standards and National Office Child well-being goals.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
** Pursue, facilitate and track intentional Registered Children (RC) involvement in all Field Office and Sponsorship activities with provision of relevant verification materials
** Make sure the Child File Cabinet is in proper condition and order with all types of Registered Children related information (as indicated in Child File Cabinet Policy) accessible
** Ensure timely children registration and Introductory Letter writing, Child Greeting Video taking, as well as provide NO technical team with registration related materials
** Together with the relevant ADP/Sponsorship staff plan and implement the (re)sensitization of target communities for/to Sponsorship
** Ensure all the registered children timely sighting as required by Sponsorship standards
** Keep regular contact with registered children directly or through child development workers
** Process all correspondence and fill all related forms (logbooks, memos, etc.)
** Timely inform respective correspondence officer(s) with all types of changes affecting child by filling and submitting relevant forms (memos, logbooks, report, etc.)
** Conduct activities for registered and non-registered children of all age.
Required qualifications:
** BA degree or last year student of faculty of social science or related to development field;
** Broad understanding of community work.
** Experience of working with children.
** Skills in data analysis using computer programs.
** Self-starter, with the ability to work in a team environment.
** Knowledge of Access and any database application, will be a plus
** Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
** Demonstrated ability to work with government and communities
** Fluent in English (Writing and speaking)
** Demonstrated commitment to child rights, child participation, and protection
** Excellent presentation and communication skills.
** Computer proficiency: MS Word, Excel, understanding of computer hardware/software are required
** Ability to handle a variety of tasks under pressure/excellence attention to detail
** Proactive to solve problems and good communication skills
** Able to maintain high level of confidentiality.
