World Vision Georgia (WVG) is announcing an opening for the position of Child Sponsorship Program Intern.

Contract Duration: 6 months
World Vision is an international Christian relief and development organization to serve the poor and marginalized people, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic origin, working in 102 countries on six continents.
Purpose of the position: Support Correspondence Officers in their daily duties, by regularly providing processed information to be uploaded in Child Sponsorship Operation Systems, as well as with quality and fruitful cooperation among Field Operation Offices and Support Offices.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Correspondence/communication flow:
** Process correspondence in/out in line with existing CS standards
** Maintenance of communication flow with respective ADPs.
** Ensure timely mailing of all the correspondences to/from RC/Sponsor via post
** Quality assurance of all types of correspondences to/from RCs
** Coordination with ADP staff and Partnership offices
** Daily communication and plans adjustment with Correspondence Officers and replace when necessary
** Communicate with ADPs in close cooperation with the Sponsorship manager and Correspondence Officers
** Reporting and other duties
** Maintain all hard copy registered children files in line with the existing standards and provide ADPs with relevant documents in timely manner so that child file cabinet is updated accordingly
** Creating and filing waybills upon need
Required Qualifications:
** Undergraduate degree or last course student in social sciences, development, or any related field
** Ability to work in multi-cultural environment
** Fluent in English (Writing and speaking)
** Ability to handle a variety of tasks under pressure and in tight deadlines
** Excellence attention to detail
** Ability to work with limited supervision
** Proactive to solve problems and good communication skills
** Demonstrated commitment to child rights, child participation, and protection
** Able to maintain high level of confidentiality
** Willingness and devotion to adjusting his/her skills and deepening knowledge
** Good time management, communication and inter-personal skills
** Computer proficiency: MS Word, Excel and basic understanding of computer
hardware
** Experience of dealing with wide range of documents; filing; databases is highly preferred
