Save the Children Country Office in Georgia is now accepting applications for the position of Project Coordinator for the Project "Chance for the Better Life".
Grade: 3
Location: Tbilisi
Start date: ASAP
Post type: Fixed term (6-7 months)
Key areas of accountability:
** Supports the Project Manager in leading project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting. Works according to the project work plan and timeline
** Prepares detailed plan of implementation for the Project activities and ensures on-time delivery
** Manages all organizational and logistical support for project-planned activities
** Schedules and conducts face-to-face in-depth interviews, facilitates focus groups and ensures quality, timely assessments
** Contributes to the review and analysis of individual case reports on efficiency of various intervention approaches for urban street children.
** Contributes to the development of tool for assessment of efficiency of various intervention approaches for urban street children at policy and implementation levels
** Support Project Manager in formulating replicable and evidence-based operational guidelines addressing priority needs of urban street children and produces generalized operational manual that will include guidance and best practices to be used within SC globally.
** Participates in preparation of the concept papers and proposals for project continuation or growth
** Any other tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
Qualifications and experience:
** University degree in social sciences or in related spheres
** At least 3 years of professional experience in international organizations
** At least 2 years experience of working with Street Children, clear understanding of their needs and service gaps
** Solid knowledge and experience in research data collection and analyses, conducting in-depth interviews and facilitating focus groups
** Excellent organizational and facilitation skills;
** English language and computer (Word/Excel) skills; willingness to travel frequently in support of project activities' monitoring.
