Chemonics International is seeking technical specialists for an anticipated good governance program in Georgia. This program will focus on: increasing civic engagement, including outside of Tbilisi; strengthening institutional oversight of government institutions; strengthening policy development and law-making processes; and improving administrative and financial management of public institutions at all levels. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
We are seeking experts in the following fields:
1. Municipal development and decentralization
2. Policy reform
3. Citizen engagement and oversight
4. Public administration reform
5. Parliamentary reform and oversight
6. Capacity building and organizational development.
Qualifications:
** Degree in a relevant area, advanced degree preferred
** Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in one or more of the above mentioned areas
** Prior successful experience in collaborating with government officials, donor agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve programmatic results
** Experience working with international donor-funded projects, preferably in the democracy and governance sector
** Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
** Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Georgian.
