Request for Expression of Interest and for pre-qualification for provision of services in the preparation of an "Educational Video on Rabbit Husbandry Practices in Georgia"

Scope of Services:

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) intends to solicit proposals from service providers for providing support in the preparation of an "Educational Video on Rabbit Husbandry Practices in Georgia".

Project Description:

The objective of the educational video will be to inform producers and potential producers on various aspects specific to Rabbit Production in Georgia. It should compare and illustrate benefits and challenges of both family level as well as commercial level production.

The service provider is required to:

1. Prepare a scenario for filming for the Educational video:

** The scenario should indicate duration in minutes for each segment/topic to be tackled.

** The service provider will focus on practical demonstration and actual footage to address each segment/topic.

2. Prepare a script for filming for the Educational video:

For the execution of the service a script providing summary of what the narration will illustrate during each segment of the video, per location and per item to be filmed. A separate chapter should focus on text that appears on the video without narration (labels etc.).

Filming locations: Organize filming sites including production of rabbits farms on family as well as commercial level.

Mandatory requirements:

In order to qualify, the companies intending to bid must meet the following requirements: The company or its staff should be experienced in production of rabbits and preparation of materials required for filming of training videos and similar.

Selection process:

The selection of the firm will be as follows: the first step aims to involve prequalifying firms potentially suitable for providing the required services. The second phase will consist in conducting a tender based on competition.

Bidders that pre-qualify should be ready to submit an offer within 1 week from notice of prequalification. The contract will be awarded to the firm which presents the lowest offer that best meets the technical requirements and specifications.

The tender will be issued on 15 April will be 22 April 2014.
