People in Need (PIN) is a Czech non-governmental organization that provides relief aid and development assistance, while working to defend human rights and democratic freedom. It is one of the largest relief and development organizations in Central/Eastern Europe and has administered projects in 37 countries over the past 20 years. People in Need has been working in Georgia since 2005 and has offices in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.

People in Need Georgia is currently planning to develop and implement the comprehensive Communication Strategy, aiming at improving organization´s communication capacity and at increasing the overall visibility of PIN Georgia´s work to different audiences.

The Communications Intern will be responsible for increasing the visibility of PIN Georgia work and projects, which will include writing articles for organization´s website, managing Facebook profile, and communicating with journalists, partners and donors. The intern will also work on developing and implementing the short-term communication strategy and work with project staff to improve their external communication skills. Intern will work under the supervision of Country Director and in close collaboration with all project teams.
