Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) is a German welfare organization that works with social groups that are vulnerable or marginalized with special attention to children, elderly and people living with disabilities. ASB launched its operations in Georgia in 1992 focusing on activities to strengthen social services, to support the IDP population, to engage in activities to build resilience and inclusive disaster risk reduction (iDRR), and to support the establishment of the Georgian Samaritan Association SSK. In 2014, ASB is working to strengthen the resilience of pre-schools and supports the start-up of social enterprises to provide social services to elderly, people with disabilities and children.
