Article 42 of the Constitution is a non-governmental,
non-political human rights advocacy organization founded in 1997. The
organization's mission is to promote the establishment of rule of law in
Georgia through incorporating international standards for the defense
of human rights and freedoms into domestic law and raising the public's
awareness of their rights under domestic and international law.
Article 42 of the Constitution is seeking a Senior Expert Lawyer (1 position) and Expert Lawyers
(2 positions) within the framework of the project "Assessment of the
Application of International Human Rights Standards in IDPs cases by
Domestic Courts in Georgia". The project is financed by the Office of
the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. Article 42 will
conduct detailed research about how domestic courts consider and apply
international treaties during litigation of IDPs' cases.
