On behalf of the UN Major Group for Children & Youth (MGCY), we are pleased to invite you to the Children & Youth Forum and UNISDR Pre-Forum Workshop, as part of the official public program of the Third UN World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (WCDRR). This event will take place in beautiful Sendai, Japan, from March 11th to 18th 2015, previously devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. It is organised and led by young people actively engaged in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and will provide an unique opportunity to develop your skills, strengths and ability to lead efforts in reducing risk and building resilience locally, nationally, regionally and globally – all while having a whole lot of fun!
