The Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) is a democracy assistance organization of political parties in The Netherlands for political parties in young democracies. Currently working with more than 200 political parties from 25 programme countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia and Eastern Europe, NIMD supports the institutional development of political parties, efforts to support democratic transformation and civil society and the media.
"Innovating Democracy Project" will bring together software developers, political parties and political scientists from across the world at a large conference event in Tbilisi, which will explore the potential of various software applications that have already been developed, to deepen representative democracies and support democratic decision making in political parties, governments and other organization.

NIMD office in the Eastern European Neighbourhood (EEN) is seeking to contract communications specialist to support public communications activities of this project NIMD on a short-term (3 months, with a needs based extension possibility) basis.
