Internship Opportunity - Office of Anna Fotyga (Chair of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence) -
The Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies (GISS) - in partnership with the office of Mrs Anna Fotyga, chair of the Subcommittee on Security and Defence (SEDE) of the European Parliament offers an internship position at the Office of Anna Fotyga, MEP, Group of European Conservatives and Reformists.
SEDE is a subcommittee of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament (AFET). It follows issues specifically related to the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP).
The primary duty of the Trainee is to provide assistance to the Office of the Chair of SEDE. Among other duties trainee will: regularly prepare reports; assist in the planning of meetings, follow the work of the subcommittee and upon request conduct substantive research on various subjects for SEDE. In addition, a trainee will also assists with day-to-day practical work in the office.

Traineeship position is granted for one month period. A trainee will be awarded allowance of 1,500 EUR (net) which covers travel to and from Brussels as well as housing and living expenses in Brussels.
