The U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi is pleased to announce call for applications for the International Writing Program (IWP) Fall Residency.  The IWP is a leading forum for bringing together foreign literary figures including television/film writers, multi-media platform writers, and influential thought leaders for a 12-week Fall Residency program.  The program will emphasize freedom of expression and the important role that writers play in civil society.  The 12-week Fall Residency at the University of Iowa will begin on August 20, 2016, and end on November 8, 2016 (dates subject to adjustment).
