Call for applications: CELA leadership workshop
July 29 - August 8, 2017
At American University in Bulgaria at Blagoevgrad
The Central Eurasia Leadership Alliance (CELA) is now accepting applications to its 2017 Leadership Workshop at American University in Bulgaria at Blagoevgrad! CELA launched in 2002 as a major initiative to bring together the region's most dynamic mid-career leaders with character, initiative and strategic vision in the fields of business, media, civil society, academia and government. CELA alumni describe the program as "the best I have taken part in", "a vibrant network of brilliant people" (To find out more what CELA members are saying, go to CELA Testimonials at http://www.celanetwork.org). Now in its thirteenth Academy, CELA has grown into the region's premier leadership training and network organization linking over 400 next-generation leaders and change agents across nine countries.
Up to forty outstanding individuals will be selected to attend this ten-day leadership event that will be intensive, challenging, and fun. English is the language of instruction during the CELA workshop and fluency is an absolute requirement. Because of the intensive nature of the Academy participants MUST ARRIVE July 28, REMAIN THROUGH THE ENTIRE program, and depart NO EARLIER than August 9.
It is important to emphasize that this is not a one-time training, but the gate to full-fledged membership in the CELA organization - a network of talent with global reach - which workshop alumni will be expected to join and actively contribute to afterwards. CELA is a bridge to affiliated partners the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF - http://www.sibf.org), the Middle East Leadership Academy (MELA - http://www.melanetwork.org) the South East Leadership Academy (SEALA - http://www.sealanetwork.org) Taken together the membership is a global network of over 1000 professional leaders from 38 countries!

They must be citizens of (and resident in) one of the following countries: Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and for the first time the invitation is extended to Mongolians. Applicants may come from business, media, civil society, academia and government.
