The International Foundation for Electoral System (IFES) is an international, independent, organization that advances good governance, and empowers underrepresented populations to participate in political processes in their communities. It provides professional support to electoral democracy. IFES in Georgia conducts a range of assistance activities to support the development of democratic processes in the country and is currently implementing the Strengthening Electoral Process (SEP) in Georgia project, a 4.5-year initiative funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
