USAID`s REAP is an integrated enterprise development program designed to identify promising entrepreneurs, promote increased investment and stimulate employment in rural areas. The project supports local agribusinesses with improved knowledge of international food safety standards including organic certification to help them take advantage of opportunities offered through the Association Agreement and DCFTA that will allow for an increase in exports to the European market. To In this regard, USAID`s REAP, in close cooperation with Agricultural Projects Management Agency (APMA) of Georgian Ministry of Agriculture, plans to further promote organic farming and food processing and jointly arrange awareness training sessions on organic production and certification in 7 target locations across Georgia.
By this RFP, REAP solicits proposals from qualified, legally-registered Georgian business service providers (BSPs) to provide Organic Production Awareness Training Program to local farmers and agribusinesses who are engaged or plan to get engaged in organic production.
