World Vision is an international relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. In 1994 WV opened its office in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi, in response to country`s dire need for assistance and intervention in the lives of poor and vulnerable.
Throughout its 20 years of work in Georgia, World Vision strives to strengthen child welfare and create a healthy and active society for children that is inclusive, tolerant and provides equal opportunities for all. In its work towards its overarching goal WVG recognizes a holistic approach whereby the improvement of a child`s well-being is inextricably linked to the improvement of overall ability of child`s family, education facilities and the communities to provide for the child. For the contribution to the overarching goal and achievement of set targets the Theory of Change (ToC) was elaborated around the three strategic directions and respectively WVG operates three Technical Programs (TPs).
