Mercy Corps is announcing an opening for the position of Georgian Association of Local Action Groups (GALAG) Coordinator for the EU funded programme `Strengthening Rural Development Models in Georgia` is part of the European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development in Georgia (ENPARD Georgia) II - Pilot Rural Development measures (phase II) will be implemented by Mercy Corps (as the lead organisation), alongside three partners: CARE, People in Need (PIN) and European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD). It will cover 3 municipalities - Borjomi, Samtskhe-Javakheti region, Lagodekhi, Kakheti region and Kazbegi, Mtskheta-Mtianeti region of Georgia. The programme is the second phase of ENPARD I project, implemented via three separate grants, by Mercy Corps, CARE and PIN in 2015 - 2017 in the same pilot municipalities. The overall objective of the programme is: `To contribute to the reduction of poverty through integrated, sustainable and participatory rural development in Georgia`.
