The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi is pleased to announce an open competition for an implementing partner for the Promoting Gender Equality in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Exchange Program (1) to facilitate a clear understanding of key barriers to female participation in TVET and analyze their implications in women’s employment and economic empowerment; (2) to provide practical tools and guidance on how to mainstream gender effectively into the TVET institutional structures, systems, programs and activities; and (3) to strengthen the capacity of TVET providers to overcome gender disparity in student recruitment and retention.
