Chemonics International is seeking interested local professionals
for the five-year USAID-funded Restoring Efficiency to Agriculture
Production (REAP) project that will provide assistance to small and
medium enterprises (SMEs) in order to support improved agricultural
productivity, marketing, and processing. This project will feature a
competitive grants program that focuses developing SME agribusinesses,
cooperatives and associations. We are looking for individuals who have a
passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the
world.
Experts are sought for the following specialty areas listed below:
Specialty area: SME Business Development
- Agribusiness Development and Marketing
- Access to Finance
- Workforce Development and Training
Specialty area: Agriculture Production
- Horticulture Production
- Agricultural Inputs and Mechanization
- Post Harvest Processing, Handling and Storage
- Transportation/Distribution
Specialty area: Operations, Grants and Finance
- Operations and Communications Director
- Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
- Grants/Procurement Manager
- Finance and Administration/Office Manager
Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant area; especially agronomy, agricultural, or business. Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the above mentioned areas
- Significant experience in delivering technical assistance, particularly in agriculture and business
- Experience in working with international donor-funded projects
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- English fluency.
