Tbilisi. The Georgian Charter of Journalistic Ethics has released a statement on the talk-show "Reaction". "The Charter echoes one of the episodes aired during the talk-show "Reaction" of the Imedi TV, in which an adolescent with leukemia has participated. The Charter's Council believes that an adolescent and his grave health state were abused for the sake of the program," says the statement. The Charter of Journalistic Ethics appeals to all media outlets to treat the interests of children and topics associated with them with particular caution. "According to the released information,  on February 14, 2014 Levan Maruashvili was examined in the prosecutor’s office under the witness status, while prior to interrogation his apartment has been searched. Adjara. International conference - "Making Friends of Cities for Climate Protection" was organized on February 14-15 in Batumi. Use of bio masses and resolving the problem of outdoor lighting was one of the key topics of the meeting attended by representatives of local CSOs, state agencies and media, as well as the field specialists. Guria.  A discussion on the prohibition of discrimination and tolerance was organized on February 15 in Ozurgeti in the office of the Young Teachers' Union. Discussion was led by the lawyer of the Georgian Democratic Initiative GiorgiMshvenieradze and philosopher LevanGhambashidze. The meeting aimed at holding regional discussions on issues such as prohibition of discrimination, tolerance, secularism as the principle of state governance. Discussion participants have talked about the environment in terms of tolerance in the Guria Region and countrywide, the rights of minorities and mechanisms of their protection. The Open Government Partnership (OGP) has officially published the Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) reports of implementation of the Action Plan of Georgia of the so called second cohort countries (i.e. countries that joined OGP in April 2012). Kvemo Kartli. At the initiative of CSO "Sida", youngsters at conflict with law from Rustavi and Bolnisi have visited together with their peers Bolnisi and Dmanisi on February 13. The event was organized as part of the EU-funded project "Supporting Juvenile Justice Reform in the National Minority Communities of KvemoKartli and Samtskhe-Javakheti", which is aimed at integrating minors at conflict with law in the society and their personal development.
