Solidarity Rally Held in Akhaltsikhe
Samtskhe-Javakheti. Akhaltsikhe has joined a global solidarity campaign "Je Suis Charlie", held worldwide over attacks on the French satirical magazine. Regional newspaper "Southern Gate" has planned the rally through social networking.
CSOs "Akhaltsikhe Youth Center", "Union of Democrat Meskhetians" and the Youth Club members functioning with the organization, students of the Samtskhe-Javakheti State University and staff members of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Administration and the Press Office of the Akhaltsikhe Municipality Local Administration have condemned together with journalists and expressed solidarity to the French people with banners "Je Suis Charlie Hebdo" and "We Condemn Violence".
