CSOs Release Statement in Support of Railway Workers' Trade Union
Tbilisi. 16 CSOs and part of the civil sector have released a statement in support of the "New professional union of the Georgian railway workers".
"We express concerns over gross breaches of freedom of association by the administration of "Georgian Railway" LLC in the company and failure to fulfill the agreement reached as a result of strike on 3 December 2014. We demand that the policy of persecution, unfair disciplinary punishment and discrimination against the leaders, activists and members of the new professional union of railway workers is terminated", the statement says.
