Joint CSO Appeal to the Government

Tbilisi. CSOs have released a joint statement on the advancement by the Russian occupation forces of the occupation line by village Orchosani and in the Tsitelubani-Khurvaleti territory.
"Clearly, Moscow continues seizing Georgian territories and inculcating fear in the peaceful population. This time strategic infrastructure such as the Baku-Supsa pipeline has been endangered. In the near future the electricity supply line Kartli-2, and most importantly, Georgia's central highway may be endangered.
We believe the emergency measures have to be applied in this situation. It is extremely important to revise the strategy of relations with Russia, without which none of the measures will bring about the results. Key principle of our strategy must focus on regulating relations with Russia with involvement and participation of international community. We suggest few measures that we believe the Georgian authorities must confront this threat immediately"...
