Tbilisi. Fair Elections comments about the election of members of the Supreme Election Commission (SECO) of Adjara, which took place on July 2015.

"We consider that political association of all three individuals, elected as members of SECO, to various parties is obvious and thus, we think that they have been selected by the Supreme Council particularly for political reasons. …Besides, the Competition Commission, which consists of 5 members from the Adjara Governance Body and 2 representatives of Non-Governmental sector, does not ensure the real parity…”, is said in the statement of the organization.
