Kakheti. On May 22, a presentation of a new large scale project of the European Union - "Civil Society Development Initiative” was conducted in Telavi. Dominika Skubida, the representative of the European Union, noted that this is one of the large scale projects in terms of development and strengthening of civil society organizations, it actually is reformation of the sphere. The Georgian civil sector is the leader in the region, where enormous human resources are accumulated, it is the social capital, on which the future of the country should be built. The event was attended by representatives of civil society organizations, operating in Kakheti, and interested groups.

The project is funded by the European Union and the Ministry for Economic Cooperation of Germany. The project is implemented by a Consortium (Civil Society Institute - #CSI, Center for Training and Consultancy - #CTC, Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia - #CSRDG, Kutaisi Education Development and Employment Center - #KEDEC) under the supervision of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
