Adjara. On May 25, a presentation of a new large scale project of the European Union - ''Civil Society Development Initiative'' was conducted in Batumi.
Davit Aprasidze, the Manager of a Konrad Adenauer Foundation project – ''Civil Society Development Initiative'' answered questions of an attending audience after the presentation.
We remind you that the presentation of the project has already been held in different regions and cities of Georgia: Kutaisi, Gori, Telavi, Akhaltsikhe, Zugdidi and on May 25 already in Batumi.
A ceremony of signing main principles of civil society organizations has also been conducted. The document is a declaration elaborated on the basis of mutual agreement of up to 200 non-governmental, i.e. civil society organizations. As Eka Danelia, a representative of the Civil Society Institute noted, these are fundamental principles around which we unite in order to support valuable activities and creation of public good.
About 200 organizations, working in Georgia, have already shared 16 principles. Any organization has an opportunity to join it via an electronic signature.
