MIA and the Prosecutor's Office have been charged to compensate damage related to a femicide case

Tbilisi. Tbilisi Office of GYLA defended interests of a woman who had been killed by her former husband.
S.J. suffered physical and psychological abuse from her former spouse (who was a police staff) for years. The victim repeatedly informed law enforcement agencies about the violence, however, they did not respond timely and effectively. As a result, the abuser killed her with an official weapon.
The Tbilisi City Court charged the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia to compensate moral damage.
