Tbilisi. The Georgian Young Lawyers' Association (GYLA) addresses the Ombudsman on behalf of two Muslim school children of the Telavi municipality.
"GYLA considers that an internal regulation of a school, prohibiting a headscarf, is neutral toward religious symbols, however a practice of enforcing this provision puts a Muslim girl in an unequal position in comparison with her Christian peers” – is stated on the website of the organization.
