''Social Media for the Integration of Youth''
Tbilisi. On March 2, NGO "Legal Development
and Consultations Group" has presented the results of the project
"Social Media for the Integration of Youth" and awarded the winner
bloggers. The project aimed at enhancing inter-cultural communication among the
youngsters of various ethnicities living in Georgia and raising their civil
awareness. Senior schoolchildren of Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijani origins
from the Akhaltsikhe and Marneuli schools were involved in the project. As part
of the project, youngsters have created youth blogs, where they have posted
information and discussed their own culture, traditions and issues of concern
to them. The project was implemented with financial support of the German Marshall
Fund (The Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation – German Marshall Fund).
