Policy of the government of Georgia in relation to Russia should become adequate to reality
Tbilisi. Coalition for Euro-Atlantic Georgia responds to a discussion that has occurred in regard to Georgia-Russia relations during last period of time in the society.
''It is hard to understand last statement made by the Prime Minister of Georgia, in which he calls Russia to a ''constructive approach'' when it comes to direct dialogue with Abkhazians and Ossetians in the format of Geneva international discussions. In the same context, his message regarding readiness for ''taking other reasonable steps'' is also vague. It is unclear what the government of Georgia wishes to achieve with such statements'' – is noted in the joint statement.
