Tbilisi. The Coalition for ''Euro Atlantic Georgia'' welcomes and supports the peace initiative of the Government of Georgia ''Step for a Better Future'', which was developed through the public involvement and a package of relevant legislative amendments.

"We believe that the successful implementation of the initiative, which involves the trade promotion on both sides of the dividing lines, along with development of important opportunities for getting quality education and creation of appropriate mechanisms will facilitate the use of all benefits, which become available on the path of Georgia`s development and European integration and create further incentive and basis for improving humanitarian and socio-economic conditions of people living in both Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region/South Ossetia, as well as, movement of people living along the dividing lines and establish relations built on common grounds", is noted in the statement.
