European Union Supports Volunteerism in Georgia

From July 5, regional hubs will hold volunteer forums within the framework of the EU project: ''Civil Society Development Initiative''. The forum will facilitate communication between organizations looking for volunteers and those who are interested to find volunteering opportunities.
During 45 months, ''Civil Society Development Initiative'' envisages to implement more than 110 activities and issue about 80 grants. At least 2500 civil society representatives will get involved in the activities throughout Georgia.
The project is funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (Germany).
