The English version of the book ''Once There Was a Girl''

The English version of the book ''Once There Was a Girl'', the collection of fairy tales inspired by the historical Georgian female characters to promote equality between girls and boys, was launched on March 11, the first day of the 63 Commission on the Status of Women in the UN Headquarters in New York.
''Twelve Georgian authors tell the stories of 21 heroines, among them the first female pilot Rusudan Zhordania, the first female mountaineer Aleksandra Japaridze and the author of the first Georgian Feminist Manifesto ''A few words to the attention of young men'' Barbare Eristavi-Jorjadze'', is noted on the page of the organization.
