Unique Web Page is Launched for Persons with Disabilities
Tbilisi. The movement "Accessible Environment
for All" will present a web page (www.Ertad.org) at 12 pm on October 18 in
the "Sheraton Metekhi Palace" Hotel. In addition, a social video will
be shown and collecting the signatures for a petition will be launched, so that
public transport becomes accessible to the citizens in wheelchairs.The new
Internet portal is a unique resource for persons who are unable to move
independently. It will connect persons with spinal damage and other impairments
with each other, and help to plan joint events and share experience. In
addition, the portal will post information on the rights of persons with disabilities,
existing legislation and available services. Further, the web page will offer
plenty of practical resources to the users.
