Transparency International - Georgia released Mathias Huter's blog post - "Time to act: 2 years until the full switch to digital terrestrial TV".  "In 2 years from today, on June 17, 2015, the analogue television signal that everybody can receive through an antenna should be switched off and replaced with a digital signal. However, the government needs to make important decisions now, if the country wants to meet the deadline it has committed to in an international agreement, as have the neighboring countries. On June 7, GYLA presented "Monitoring of the Introduction of Personal Data Filing System in Georgian Ministries," which details the results of its research into Georgian Ministries’ data filing systems. The report examines the progress of Georgian Ministries in implementing personal data filing systems, as stipulated by the Personal Data Protection Legislation of Georgia. GYLA requested information from all ministries about their personal data filling system and filing system catalogue. The results of the research revealed the following issues : The Personal Data Protection Inspector position remains empty; A majority of Ministries lack data filing systems or data filing system catalogues; The data filing systems in place at some Ministries fall short of their legislative requirement; Certain Ministries misunderstand the obligation of having the filing system or the filing system catalogue, relating it to the appointment of the Personal Data protection Inspector. "As the public is already informed, in 2013 it was planned to reach the 6% economic growth, however, the economy grew in the first quarter only by 1,7 percent. "Obtained documents make it clear that over nine years (2004-2012) the facts of termination of pregnancy in Georgia have reached an alarming number - 221 082.
