Kakheti.On November 6, the
East-West Management Institute (EWMIG-PAC)held a meeting with the local NGO
representatives in the Telavi Civic Engagement Center.The discussion concerned the impact of
recent developments on the role of the civil society in Georgia.According to MakaKhaziuri, the
representative of one of the participating NGOs "Media Center
Kakheti", the recent developments had a special impact on the civil
society by increasing its participation in the decision-making process:
"Non-governmental sector continues active work for the society to better
acknowledge its role in the building of civil society".
