of the organization "IDP Women for Their Rights" Nona Ubilava held a
press-conference on November 9. According to her, 13 NGOs request the Minister
of Refugees and Accommodation of Georgia to visit Zugdidi. As Nona Ubilava
said, a week ago she has sent a letter to the Minister signed by 13
organizations, requesting him to visit Zugdidi. Nona Ubilava says that the
Minister's statements concerning the allowances and occupation of living space
by the IDPs have triggered number of questions: "We do not have
pretensions, we have questions and fear that a conflict will be escalated, and
for that reason we asked the Minister to visit us and get familiar with the IDP
problems on the ground".
