TI: ''Tbilisi Development Fund's Contest Raises Questions''
Tbilisi. On March 5 the Tbilisi Development Fund has announced a contest for drafting an urban development concept of the city's historic part. The Fund was receiving contest proposals during five days, from 9 through 13 March. According to Transparency International – Georgia, as the March 13 sitting minutes state, "contest proposal of the only applicant, "Consultation Center for Distance Sounding and Geographic Information Systems" LLC, was submitted in the contest".
The organization believes contest deadlines "were suspiciously short for the participants to properly formulate a conceptual vision on development of Tbilisi's historic part".
