Discussion – ''Status of Settled Families and Those Left without Shelter''
Adjara. The Batumi Civic Engagement Center has hosted a discussion on May 20: "Status of settled families and those left without shelter". The Democracy Institute has organized this meeting as part of the Civic Week. The meeting aimed to discuss the authorities' approach and ways of solving the problems of those settled in the territory of former 25th and 53rd battallions. Government Commission has already studied their status and results will be made public soon, following which decision will be made on granting the accommodation to the settled. The settled and representatives of CSOs working on this topic and authorities have participated in the discussion.
