Tbilisi. Examination of grant applications is over. The Civil Society Institute has announced the grant contest on April 7, which ended on April 30. 13 CSOs were invited to the contest, which had received two certificates as part of the e-learning program.
Total of 7 project proposals were submitted. The grant commission, consisting of e-learning course lecturers Iago Kachkachishvili, Keti Melikadze, Oto Kikvadze, Vazha Salamadze, and invited expert Dato Losaberidze, have identified 3 winner projects:
1.The Kutaisi Education, Development and Employment Center, project: "Protecting the rights and implementation of rights of persons with disabilities”;
2.Step to the Future, project: "Let’s defeat C-Hepatitis together”;
3.Union Orioni, project: "Studying and advocating the needs of persons with disabilities”.
Sub-grants are issued as part of the e-learning program. Grant contest will be re-announced following the completion of the II learning cycle. Volume of the sub-grant is 11000.
