Samegrelo. Association "Dea” has organized the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3 in Zugdidi with the event of solidarity. Take this road – was the title of the event, as part of which the march of citizens was organized from several streets. The event, in which the students, NGO and state sector, and ordinary citizens have participated apart from the persons with disabilities, aimed to unite the civil society."This is not a political event, this is a solidarity event for sharing the state of persons with disabilities and promoting equal rights, environment and opportunities”, – said the member of association "Dea” IvetaTsitashvili.The solidarity event was ended with a flash-mob (wheelchair dance) of students from the ShotaMeskhia University. Irakli Jikia, one of the students who went to the event sitting in a wheelchair has noted that he had difficulties in moving around the city as the relevant infrastructure is missing. He also said that he went to the event in a wheelchair to express his solidarity. After the flash-mob the students have flown the kites.
