Tbilisi. A final conference of the project "Georgia and the EU" was held on July28. In partnership with the education system of the Patriarchate of Georgia and the St. David Aghmashenebeli Education Center, the Center for Development and Democracy (CDD) has implemented a pilot project "Georgia and the EU" with support from the Embassies of the Kingdom of Netherlands and the Great Britain. The project aimed to organize information meetings in various eparchies of Georgia for the representatives of the Patriarchate's schools and gymnasiums.
The participants and invited guests have discussed the importance of the project, future plans and the prospects of the project's further development. Video and photo materials depicting the meetings held as part of the project were presented at the conference, followed by an interesting discussion.
