On September 15-17, a cycle of regional seminars on: "Myths and Realities of European Integration” will take place at the Centers for Civic Engagement in four cities of western Georgia – Batumi, Ozurgeti, Zugdidi and Kutaisi. The objective of the event is to raise awareness in the regions of Georgia about the European Integration Process and the opportunities as a result of it, including the Association Agreement with the European Union covering the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) and visa free travel. The seminars are organized by the East-West Management Institute (EWMI) and by the office of the State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
The seminars will be managed by leading experts, working on the issue of European integration, representatives of the central government of Georgia and leader of Non-Governmental Organizations.
