Tbilisi. On September 21 distance learning course on ''Election Law'' has started. Within the frames of the online platform www.e-learning.ge, the Civil Society Institute has launched the fifth course. Financial support of the Election Law is provided by the LEPL ''Center of Electoral Systems Development, Reforms and Trainings''.
Training program contains two methods of learning: free listener and registered participant. At this stage the registered participants of the training program are the representatives of political parties, however, the free listeners have an opportunity to listen and to view 13 video-lectures, related to all important issues concerning elections.
''Election Law'' includes such issues as the idea of free elections in the theories of representative democracy, the election system of Georgia, the election administration, the voters lists, the election systems in Georgia, the monitoring of elections, the polling day, the election disputes, etc…
The new training course, Election Law, contains 10 educative and 3 practical video-lectures. Its objective is to facilitate awareness of the representatives of political unions, as well as the students and non-governmental organizations, working on election issues.
